BONNYVILLE - COMMUNITIES

Bonnyville is located 240 km from Edmonton, Alberta on highway 28. It is situated amidst clear lakes, white sandy beaches and green forests that abound with birds and wildlife. Outdoor activities are unlimited with fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports and quading on the numerous marked trails.

The Town of Bonnyville is adjacent to Jessie Lake; a place for hundreds of shore and song birds. There is extensive Park around the lake with an eight kilometer paved trail to hike, bike or roller blade. Visit the viewing and interpretive stations around Jessie Lake to see the great blue heron, cranes, ducks, geese and eagles.
