For a small village of 482, Glendon can make a lot of noise!  With thousands attending the LARGEST TRUCK DEMOLITION DERBY IN ALBERTA, Glendon’s DERBY DAZE in August is sure to get your adrenaline pumping.  The day begins with a pancake breakfast and a parade, continues on with a GREASED PIG CONTEST and the DERBY and FIREWORKS.  This day has more MUD-THROWING, SMOKE BILLOWING, TRUCK-SMASHING EXCITEMENT  than you have ever seen!!

The following weekend is GLENDON CRUISE NIGHT.  Show off your ride or admire someone else’s, but don’t miss it!  This great day of fun includes an impressive SMOKE SHOW and a good OLD-FASHIONED DRIVE IN MOVIE.

Celebrate CANADA’S BIRTHDAY by joining in Glendon’s spectacular CANADA DAY BALL GAME, Great ACTIVITIES for the kids- They’ll never forget this event! – Magnificent FIRE WORKS and a BEER FEST for the adults in the evening.
